Raven Hawk is a fiction writer and poet. She lives in Vermont with three of her four children and a small pounce of Norwegian Forest Cats. She is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in English and Creative Writing with a specialization in Fiction at Southern New Hampshire University. While attending classes, she also works as an editor for VIMFIRE magazine and is the manager of a local jewelry store. Additionally, when time permits, she enjoys reviewing books and editing manuscripts for other aspiring writers.

Ms. Hawk has Traumatic Brain Injury, resulting from an auto accident she was in several years ago, but it does not define or limit her as a person or artist. She believes it merely is a challenge she must face and overcome in her daily life in order to be successful in meeting her personal and professional goals. She hopes that her positive attitude and success will encourage others suffering with Traumatic Brain Injury to pursue their own dreams and goals.

Ms. Hawk has three primary goals as a writer. First, to write stories that show her characters on a raw and intimate level, allowing readers to relate to them in powerful and personal ways. Second, to write stories that make a difference in the lives of others. Finally, to write books for teens and young adults that can help them explore their own identity and beliefs, as well as help them stand up to the pressures they feel from friends and society with honesty and conviction.

In addition, Ms. Hawk is an avid supporter of programs that provide public education regarding, and support to families that have been affected by domestic violence.
